ILTexas AGP HS Dance Class

The International Leadership of Texas recognizes the importance of the Fine Arts for a well-rounded high school graduate.

The ILTexas Fine Arts Department offers regular and advanced courses in all four Fine Arts areas; Dance, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts. Performance is an integral part of the performing arts and therefore included in the TEKS.

All ILTexas Dance, Music, and Theatre programs present both in-class and after school performance opportunities.

Likewise, all Visual Arts programs extend opportunities to showcase art pieces to students and parents/guests. Additionally, Fine Arts competitions provide opportunities for students to refine their technical and performative skills and set and achieve personal and group goals.

Preparing for competition also provides opportunities for student leadership, teamwork, and positive character building.  Since 2013, ILTexas students have competed state-wide within TCSAAL, UIL, and private competitions, winning numerous individual and group awards.
